Staff Application Engineer

Job Description

Forma.ai, a Series B startup revolutionizing sales compensation, is seeking a Staff Application Engineer. The engineer will report to the Engineering Manager and play a key role in feature development, leading efforts for critical application features and setting an example for code quality and software design. This role involves working on challenging code, whether on the back end, front end, or a mix of both.

• Leading development efforts for critical application features

Requirements:

• Experienced in software development
• Strong experience in JavaScript development (TypeScript a plus)
• Python development experience (Django a plus) or equivalent server-side language
• Respectful and candid in interactions with others and in critiquing the product
• A strong sense of customer empathy and an interest in being involved in the product direction
