Mirakl, a leader in the platform economy, is offering a Lead Analytics Engineer position in Bordeaux, France. Mirakl provides companies with solutions to transform their e-commerce.

The Lead Analytics Engineer will play a crucial role in building and optimizing data models, pipelines, and analytical solutions to provide Mirakl employees with high-quality data. They will be responsible for mentoring a squad of 3 people.

Role Involves:

• Developing data products by deploying a “self-service analytics” approach
• Developing and maintaining efficient data models and the associated semantic layer
• Implementing robust ETL/ELT pipelines in Databricks and optimizing SQL/Python code
• Managing stakeholders and prioritization by animating regular communication and alignment meetings
• Leading an Analytics squad by creating and animating rituals, distributing workload, and monitoring progress

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer or in a similar role.
• Experience in implementing a self-service approach with Metabase or similar BI tools.
• Mastery of SQL, Python with experience in designing and optimizing complex queries and scripts.
• Practical experience with Databricks/AWS or similar data platforms.
• Experience in a lead position, organizing daily team operations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
