Software Engineer Java at Mirakl - Labs

Mirakl, a leader in the platform economy, is seeking a Software Engineer Java to join its Mirakl Labs team. The company provides solutions that enable businesses to transform their e-commerce and accelerate growth. Mirakl Labs is spread across Paris and Bordeaux, collaborating to address client challenges related to new functionalities, scalability, security, and ergonomics. Teams operate in agile mode, organized into squads composed of developers, a Product Manager, and a QA.

The Software Engineer Java will be responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying new business functionalities proposed by the Product Manager. They will implement these functionalities across all layers of applications, from interfaces (UI or REST API) to the business layer, including the creation of database schemas and scripts. The role is available on a permanent contract basis in Paris, Bordeaux, or remotely from metropolitan France.

Role Involves:

• Participating in design meetings with the team.
• Developing, testing, and deploying (continuous delivery).
• Performing code reviews and pair programming.
• Monitoring and debugging production issues.
• Participating in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Contributing to the quarterly roadmap development.
• Mentoring junior developers.
• Monitoring the business cycle and adoption rate of developed features.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience with Java and Spring.
• Understanding of web challenges.
• Desire to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
• Willingness to learn and improve your know-how.
• Professional English proficiency.
