Job Description
The Daily Beast is seeking an Associate Director of Consumer Marketing – Subscription to spearhead subscription acquisition and retention initiatives, fostering growth and engagement within its subscriber base. This role demands a data-driven and results-oriented professional with a strong grasp of consumer behavior, digital marketing, and audience engagement.He/She will:
- Develop and execute data-driven marketing strategies to acquire new subscribers across multiple channels.
- Establish and optimize subscription pricing guidelines.
- Optimize conversion funnels by analyzing user behavior.
- Oversee paid media campaigns.
- Develop and implement subscriber retention programs to minimize churn.
- Create and oversee engagement initiatives such as personalized email campaigns and loyalty programs.
- Work closely with editorial teams to align content strategies with subscriber engagement objectives.
- Partner with the product team to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Collaborate with the analytics team to monitor performance and conduct consumer behavior analysis.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in consumer marketing with a focus on subscription acquisition and retention.
- Proven track record of executing successful subscriber growth campaigns across digital channels.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, CRM systems, email marketing tools).
- Experience with data-driven decision-making, A/B testing, and performance tracking.
- Excellent communication, project management, and collaboration skills.
