Cisco ThousandEyes is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their API team. The team's goal is todeliver a global and reliable public API. The ideal candidate will design and implement a reliable public API with a focus on security, performance to meet the requirements of Enterprise customers.
As a Senior Software Engineer, the role involves:
- Designing and implementing a reliable public API.
- Focusing on security, performance, and scale.
- Helping engineering teams deliver a best-in-class API.
The requirements for this role include:
- Proficiency in JVM languages such as Kotlin or Java.
- Excellent knowledge of computer science fundamentals.
- Expert level understanding of public APIs.
- Experience building large-scale cloud systems.
- Excellent object-oriented design skills.
- Professional experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies such as AWS.
Cisco ThousandEyes offers:
- A hybrid work approach (at least one day per week in Lisbon or Crete office).
