C++ Engineer at Jumio

Jumio is seeking a C++ Engineer to join its research team and contribute to the development and improvement of production software for identity verification. The engineer will work on a variety of tasks, from maintaining existing code to researching and developing new features. The ideal candidate will be a C++ expert with a generalist mindset, capable of adapting to changing needs.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to continuously improve Jumio's systems.
• Deliver features from requirements analysis through development to production.
• Clarify and prioritize work with Product Managers.
• Maintain and improve quality with QA Engineers.
• Support operational and troubleshooting work with DevOps engineers.
• Define and use best practices to produce new features effectively.
• Port research code from Matlab or Python to C++.
• Develop C++ image processing code for various platforms.

Requirements:

• Solid experience with C++ and OpenCV.
• Experience with ONNXRuntime and TFLite (CoreML is a plus).
• Experience with distributed systems.
• Experience with mobile phone development (Xcode/Apple toolchains, Android NDK).
• Experience with Emscripten and JavaScript/Web development is a plus.
• Experience with CMake.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in software development.
• Familiarity with static code analysis tools
• Excellent analytical, conceptual, and communication skills in spoken and written English.
