Jumio is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join their APAC team. The BDR will be responsible for qualifying inbound leads, driving outbound calls and campaigns, and collaborating with the marketing, channel, and sales teams to convert prospects into customers.

Role Involves:

  • Supporting the APAC sales team in generating new business opportunities through strategic outbound calling and prospecting into target accounts.
  • Qualifying inbound prospects by educating them on solutions, answering questions, and determining how they move through the sales funnel.
  • Engaging and maintaining a pipeline of interested prospects, supporting the sales team in moving leads through the sales pipeline.
  • Helping to expand within existing customer campaigns through list building and outbound campaigns.
  • Prospecting, educating, and qualifying leads – building a solid understanding of the industry to spark meaningful conversations.
  • Working alongside Marketing to support the Sales team with outbound and pipeline generation strategies.
  • Providing detailed information to Account Executives to enable more productive follow-up meetings.
  • List building for target accounts and existing customer accounts to improve the performance of outbound campaigns.
  • Performing regular follow-up calls or emails to rekindle the interest of prospects who have stopped responding and identify new potential needs.
  • Creating personalized outbound/inbound sequences via Outreach using a combination of videos, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Helping to build awareness of special events and projects (e.g., blog posts, webinars, press releases).

Requirements:

  • At least 2-3 years of B2B experience in a similar role.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong work ethic with a desire to grow professionally.
  • Intellectually curious and driven by a desire to explore, ask questions, and understand their work more deeply.
  • Working knowledge of the enterprise software market.
  • Strong communication skills via phone and email; comfortable making cold calls.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple prospecting techniques (e.g., personalized videos, social Outreach, etc.).
  • Proficient in Salesforce, Outreach, and list building (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
  • Fluency in English and conversational level of Mandarin (verbal and written).
