Job Description
Strata is seeking an Inside Sales / Sales Associate to drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities within its existing customer base and acquire new business through prospecting and relationship building. This role is based in Boulder, Colorado, and requires 4-5 days a week in the office. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in expanding account value by understanding customer needs and leveraging data-driven insights.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing inbound leads and advancing them through the sales funnel.
- Identifying growth opportunities within customer accounts.
- Developing and executing scalable automation playbooks.
- Building customer relationships and understanding their needs.
- Tracking and analyzing customer product adoption and feature usage.
- Collaborating with Customer Success, Sales, and Retention teams.
- Assisting in preparing tailored pitches and follow-up materials.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in sales with closing experience, within cybersecurity, SaaS, or technology.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales metrics.
- Strong ability to identify, position, and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Technical curiosity and the ability to quickly learn complex solutions.
- Strong data analysis skills.
- Customer-centric mindset with high emotional intelligence.
- Proficiency in customer success and sales tools such as Salesforce.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
