Upgrade is seeking an Account Executive to join their sales team in North America, specifically in Atlanta. This role offers the unique opportunity to shape go-to-market offerings and sales processes within an established Bay-Area FinTech company. The Account Executive will be responsible for attracting new merchants and contractors to offer payment options through Upgrade. Future leaders are expected to emerge from this initial group of entrepreneurial sellers.

What This Role Involves:
  • Owning the entire end-to-end sales cycle from creation to close.
  • Maintaining a robust sales pipeline within target accounts and tracking it in Salesforce.
  • Developing key relationships with clients at the C-Suite level and cultivating lasting customer relationships.
  • Refining and delivering sales presentations to customers.
  • Consistently overachieving targets through a customer-obsessed approach.
  • Partnering with Sales and Customer Success leadership to develop account-based sales strategies.
  • Driving activity using multiple channels and resources.
  • Prospecting and generating relationships with new customers.
  • Adopting and executing high-velocity selling methodologies.

What Upgrade is Looking For:
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in SaaS or Channel full sales cycles or highly relatable functions.
  • Interest in helping shape a new offering’s go-to-market strategy.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Experience in developing trusted relationships with new customers.
  • Effective presentation and communication skills.
  • Self-driven with a track record of exceeding goals.
  • Strong collaborator with cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability and resilience in a changing environment.
  • Strong work ethic and competitive mindset.
