Job Description
Semgrep is seeking an Outbound Sales Development Representative to grow sales pipeline by prospecting into new accounts. The role involves collaborating with the AE team to nurture relationships with existing customers and partnering with Marketing and Account Executives to initiate new customer relationships. This is a hybrid role based in Semgrep's San Francisco office, requiring 3 days a week in the office.
Responsibilities: - Generate interest, qualify, and convert marketing leads into prospective customers.
- Generate sales-ready meetings and opportunities for Account Executives.
- Achieve quota, territory revenue, and growth objectives.
- Provide accurate lead distribution and thorough discovery to assigned Account Executives.
- Identify and analyze target prospects based on market, firmographic, and product signals.
- Utilize Semgrep’s systems and sales enablement tools for prospecting.
- Establish relationships with key stakeholders within Semgrep’s target accounts.
Requirements: - 1+ year of experience in a quota-based Sales or Business Development role.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to learn and follow standardized processes.
- Growth mindset and ability to act on feedback quickly.
- Strong organization and time-management skills.
