Senior Software Developer / Team Lead (m/f/d)

Job Description

Visier is seeking a Senior Software Developer/Team Lead to join their team in Berlin. The ideal candidate will contribute to developing Visier’s newest products and help drive the company's technical growth. The Berlin development team is focused on starting up a new total rewards line of products, enabling businesses to make better, fairer, and quicker compensation decisions.

What this role involves:

• Being one of the main contributors to one of Visier's newest products
• Writing code using React and Kotlin to realize UI and business logic
• Leading and mentoring junior software developers
• Understanding requirements and translating them into product definition and technical design
• Ensuring the product is able to run 24/7 and is secure, scalable, and cost-effective
• Working with a modern tech stack including React, Kotlin, PostgreSQL, TypeScript, AWS and more

Requirements:

• Extensive professional experience developing SaaS products
• Excellent coding skills in at least one object-oriented server programming language (Unix environment)
• Ingrained computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms
• A strong academic background in Computer Science, or a similar field with an excellent academic record in Computer Science courses
