Job Description
Stronghold Investment Management is seeking a Senior Software Backend Engineer to join their team in Bangalore. The candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of backend services and APIs. They will work with senior engineers, front-end developers, and UX/UI designers to improve user experiences. The role involves defining software requirements, participating in code reviews, and managing data using SQL and NoSQL databases in Azure.
Role involves:
- Participating in the design, development, and maintenance of backend services and APIs.
- Working collaboratively with senior engineers, front-end developers, and UX/UI designers to enhance user experiences.
- Assisting in defining software requirements in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Contributing to code reviews and adhere to best practices.
- Assisting in managing data using both SQL and NoSQL databases in cloud environments like Azure.
- Engaging in continuous learning to stay updated with industry trends and technologies.
Requirements:
- 8-12 years in Backend development.
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails.
- Experience with Pandas, Numpy Polars.
- Extensive experience in building and maintaining web applications.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Experience with relational (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and No-SQL (Redis, MongoDB, Elasticsearch) databases.
- Experience with message queues like Kafka.
- Foundational understanding of software architecture, data structures, and modern programming languages
