Software Engineering Manager

Job Description

Stronghold Investment Management is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead their engineering team. The manager will be an individual contributor, guiding, mentoring, and building alongside the team, while actively coding 50% of the time.

Role Involves:

• Managing a high-performing remote engineering team.
• Conducting detailed code reviews.
• Implementing and refining Agile SDLC processes.
• Collaborating with finance, asset management, and investment professionals.
• Fostering a dynamic environment of continuous learning.
• Tracking team performance metrics.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5+ years leading engineering teams.
• Experience in finance, oil & gas, fintech, or investment management is highly preferred.
• Technical experience with Ruby on Rails, Python, Kafka, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Azure.
• Experience with RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies.
