Job Description
Stronghold Investment Management is seeking a Title Attorney with Oil & Gas experience. The candidate will use legal expertise with practical landman training to facilitate asset acquisition and divestiture, resolve complex title issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to train, mentor, and share knowledge while leveraging their expertise in legal and landman disciplines.Role involves:
  • Reviewing real property title documents and oil and gas-related agreements.
  • Identifying and resolving title issues within the chain of title.
  • Drafting title opinions advising on ownership and resolving title complexities.
  • Leading training programs to upskill team members in title analysis and regulatory compliance.
  • Drafting precise, clear, and legally sound documents.
  • Coordinating with multiple departments to streamline asset acquisition processes.
Requirements:
  • Licensed attorney in good standing in Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana, Ohio, Utah, Colorado, North Dakota, and/or Oklahoma.
  • Must have O&G experience
  • Expertise in title and mineral interest analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of New Mexico, Louisiana, Ohio, Utah, Colorado, North Dakota, and/or Oklahoma regulatory systems and unit structures.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on mentorship and team development.
  • Proficiency in training team members on industry best practices and legal procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to educate and inspire.
  • High personal and professional integrity with a collaborative, team-focused mindset.
