Job Description
Chainguard is seeking a highly motivated Public Sector Account Executive to focus on State & Local and/or Public & Private Higher Education (SLED). The Account Executive will play a key role in establishing a presence within SLED customer accounts and evangelizing Secure Software Supply Chains.Role involves:
  • Defining and executing an account plan for the SLED territory.
  • Driving the adoption of Chainguard Images to new customers.
  • Evangelizing the value proposition and ROI to prospects and leads.
  • Positioning as a trusted advisor within a government program.
  • Championing offerings with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with internal business functions.
  • Leveraging community, partner ecosystems, and marketing.
  • Forecasting accurately to meet and exceed quota.
  • Managing business and track opportunities in SFDC.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of Enterprise Sales Experience in SLED.
  • Competitive, driven, and a team player.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Willingness to travel to clients (25%).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset.
