Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at DKatalis

DKatalis is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join their team and contribute to building a stable and scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. The company is a financial technology firm with offices in the APAC region, aiming to create a linked financial services ecosystem.This role involves working within the Cloud Infrastructure Team, a cross-cutting engineering unit focused on delivering an agile, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure to power a digital banking platform. The team embraces modern Cloud Native practices and Infrastructure as Code.Responsibilities:

• Possess deep knowledge and understanding of Kubernetes and Cloud infrastructure platforms such as GCP and AWS
• Manage technical projects within infrastructure and cloud domains
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, using continuous integration/delivery tools
• Deploy container orchestration technologies such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Balance doing things right with fixing things quickly.
• Coach, mentor and grow a team of talented cloud infrastructure engineers
• Oversee end-to-end Platform architecture and roadmap
• Lead in-depth technical and data analysis to gauge service trends and drive improvements.
• Comfortable with on-call responsibility and are able to manage a crisis
• Participate in continuous improvement and execution of quality and timely major incident root cause analysis

Requirements:

• Strong in Linux systems, networking, monitoring and automation.
• 5 years of hands-on-experience in architecting, designing, developing and implementing cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCE, GKE, GAE, GCS, Cloud SQL, VPC, Resource Manager, StackDriver, Cloud CDN, Cloud IAM)
• Experience with Terraform, Bash, Shell, Python (bonus)
• Experience with Configuration Management - Chef, Puppet, Ansible etc
• Experience with - Docker, Kubernetes, Gitlab, ELK
• Exposure to relational, no-sql databases and caching solutions - Mongodb, Redis
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
