Senior Site Reliability Engineer at DKatalis

DKatalis, a financial technology company is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer in Jakarta, Indonesia. The SRE Team at DKatalis maintains the digital platform for Bank Jago’s systems and services in a 24/7 operation. The role involves optimizing Kubernetes, maintaining system uptime, debugging production issues, and automating recurring tasks. The SRE team aims to improve the reliability of the digital platform, software releases, and deployment processes.He/she will collaborate with software squads in building a reliable digital platform. The candidate should have a strong software engineering background and be comfortable with on-call responsibilities.Responsibilities:

• Participate in SRE software engineering and automate processes.
• Balance fixing things quickly with doing things right.
• Analyze systems based on data points to identify critical workloads.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure system behavior is understood.
• Lead technical and data analysis to drive improvements.
• Manage crises and communicate progress and challenges.
• Participate in root cause analysis and post-mortem activities.
• Contribute to the design and delivery of effective tooling and alerts.
• Communicate reliability, stability, and efficiency results to stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in software development and/or SRE functions.
• 3+ years in a senior/lead capacity.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience with Observability, CI/CD, and release management.
• Knowledge of OS platforms (Linux/UNIX), Networking, Web Systems, and DevOps.
• Experience working with large-scale distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Comfortable writing software to automate API-driven tasks at scale (NodeJS, Java, Go).
• Excellent communication skills.
