Senior Software Engineer at DKatalis

DKatalis, a financial technology company with offices in the APAC region, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Senior Software Engineer will be part of a cross-functional agile engineering team responsible for building, deploying, and supporting digital products.

The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality is built into the product. This individual will also share their learnings and mentor junior engineers on good engineering practices.

What the role involves:

• Working with engineering and product owners to design, refine, and develop the product.
• Contributing to the creation of best-in-class product by designing, building, scaling, and evolving platforms, services, and tools.
• Communicating and collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams in a multicultural environment.
• Mentoring a team of engineers.
• Ensuring the performance, security, and responsiveness of applications.
• Continuously improving code quality, product execution, and automatization.

What you need to have:

• 10+ years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Hands-on expertise in Java / Javascript or its derivatives.
• Experience in front-end development (Flutter Preferred).
• Experience with Lean/XP practices (TDD, Pair Programming, Continuous Integration/Delivery).
• Experience working in Agile Software development.
