Harbinger Motors is seeking a Component Test Technician to join its team. This role involves providing hands-on support to various in-house and external tests. The technician will assist the engineering staff with test setups, execution, and teardown. They may occasionally travel to external test facilities and will be responsible for fabricating test fixtures, making wiring harnesses, and supporting other lab activities. Maintaining lab inventory and a clean lab environment are also key responsibilities.This is a 1 year contract position with possibility of conversion to a full-time role. This role requires on-site attendance 5 days a week between 8 am and 5 pm.
Role Involves: - Assisting with test setups, execution, and teardown.
- Traveling to external test facilities.
- Fabricating test fixtures and wiring harnesses.
- Maintaining lab inventory and a clean lab environment.
- Operating a forklift.
Requirements: - High-voltage electrical testing experience.
- Experience operating bench-top power supplies and electrical loads.
- Experience building special wiring harnesses from scratch.
- Experience building test-stands and test-fixtures
