VML & Ogilvy Japan GK is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Account Director to lead activation efforts for its FMCG client. The Account Director will be responsible for leading a team, managing client relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of innovative and impactful activation programs. This role requires a deep understanding of the FMCG industry and the importance of driving quick results.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic activation plans that align with client objectives.
- Lead and manage a team of account managers and specialists.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders.
- Manage project budgets and timelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute integrated activation campaigns.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
- Identify and address potential challenges and opportunities.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in account management, with a focus on activation and FMCG.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful activation campaigns.
- Deep understanding of FMCG marketing principles and consumer behavior.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
