VML & Ogilvy Japan GK is seeking an Account Director, Experience Design & Service to lead and grow their Experience Design and Service practice. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker responsible for overseeing a portfolio of clients, leading project teams, and ensuring the successful execution of experience design and service strategies.

This role involves:

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key client stakeholders.
  • Understanding client business objectives and translating them into effective strategies.
  • Leading and managing project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Developing and presenting proposals to clients.
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitoring project performance and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in account management or a related field, with a focus on experience design and/or service design.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing client relationships and driving business growth.
  • Deep understanding of experience design principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
