VML & Ogilvy Japan GK is seeking an Art Director to plan and execute visual communication strategies, primarily for digital and social media platforms. The Art Director will be responsible for creating and directing innovative and engaging creative content that contributes to enhancing clients' brand value.

Role involves:

  • Meeting with clients to understand their needs.
  • Planning and executing visual strategies for digital advertising, social media content, and websites.
  • Directing all aspects of creative development, including concept development, visual design, copywriting, and video production.
  • Collaborating with and directing external partners.
  • Researching and analyzing digital, social media, and design trends.
  • Measuring the effectiveness of creative output and proposing improvements.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in art direction within the digital/social media field.
  • High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and experience using Figma.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing and branding.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to take initiative.
  • Strong interest in new technologies and trends.
  • Business-level English proficiency.
