VML & Ogilvy Japan is seeking a Senior Copywriter to play a key role in creating compelling content for clients. The Senior Copywriter will be responsible for developing innovative solutions to client challenges, crafting engaging narratives, and ensuring effective communication across various platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of branding, marketing, and advertising principles.

Role involves:

  • Solving client problems with great ideas, holistic thinking and great copywriting.
  • Developing innovative solutions to client challenges.
  • Crafting engaging narratives for a variety of targets.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including creative, account, and planning.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a creative team, with agency/production experience in advertising campaigns.
  • 3+ years of experience as a copywriter in the advertising industry.
  • Strong digital ideation skills and a proven track record.
  • Native-level Japanese and conversational English proficiency.
  • Positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills.
