Job Description

VML & Ogilvy Japan GK is seeking an experienced Experience Strategist to develop CX strategies and experience design plans for client engagements. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of human-centered design and be able to translate client business objectives into customer experience solutions. This role requires strong collaboration within the team to develop partnerships across different departments.

Role Involves:

  • Analyzing current state vs. business opportunity and creating gap analyses.
  • Developing recommendations and roadmaps, and guiding solution architecture.
  • Developing journey-thinking as a core skill, leveraging data to understand consumer experiences.
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance digital experiences through innovation.
  • Independently working out the digital experience strategy according to the customers demand.
  • Creating user scenarios based on the experience strategy.
  • Guiding team members to develop research proposals and questionnaires.
  • Completing research reports, including customer and user needs research.
  • Understanding monitoring data and making suggestions based on data analysis.

Requirements:

  • More than 5 years of experience in Experience Strategy or related area.
  • Deep understanding of human-centered design approach.
  • Master of user research and testing.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build trusting client relationships.
  • Experience and Knowledge in Mural/Miro/Figma or any equivalent tool
  • Japanese business level or above, English conversational or above
