VML & Ogilvy Japan GK is seeking a Social Specialist to play a pivotal role in the Agency’s Social Practice. The Social Specialist will communicate with strategists, manage social work streams, oversee content development, manage content approvals, publish materials, monitor channel activity, and engage in community management.

Role Involves:

  • Working with strategists to align with social strategy.
  • Collaborating with creative and content teams for content creation and management.
  • Monitoring channel activity and audience engagement.
  • Community management.
  • Presentation development and delivery.
  • Integrating the social team with wider agency operations.
  • Managing day-to-day client engagement.
  • Supporting social strategists with new channel/content requirements.

Requirements:

  • Track record in social media marketing and communications planning.
  • Understanding of paid social media and brand marketing.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate within a cross-functional team.
  • Engaging personality with a solution-oriented approach.
  • Open to innovation and a positive mindset.
  • Advanced knowledge of working software (Office 365, etc.).
  • Business level or above proficiency in Japanese and English.
