SoundHound AI is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join their team and contribute to the development and integration of cutting-edge ASR models. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and neural network fundamentals, with experience in automatic speech recognition and spoken language processing.This role involves:
  • Training, tuning, and testing state-of-the-art ASR models for various languages.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate ASR technologies into SoundHound products.
  • Running benchmarks and optimizing ASR models for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Providing customized ASR solutions and troubleshooting customer-related issues.
  • Leading technical initiatives to enhance SoundHound ASR technologies.
  • Mentoring junior team members and contributing to knowledge sharing.
Requirements include:
  • A Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience or a Master’s degree with 6 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Experience in automatic speech recognition, natural language understanding, or spoken language processing.
  • Proficiency in machine learning and deep learning frameworks (Pytorch preferred).
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and other containerization technologies.
  • Proficiency in Python and experience with C++.
