Software Engineer, Voice AI (Kannada)

Job Description

SoundHound AI is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team and contribute to the development of Voice AI products with a focus on the Kannada language. This role involves leveraging coding skills in C++ and knowledge of Kannada to develop conversational AI solutions within a domain-oriented development paradigm.

The Software Engineer will work with technologies such as Natural Language Processing (NLP), Natural Language Understanding (NLU), and Natural Language Generation (NLG). They will collaborate with a globally dispersed team, implement and scale core codebase, and write code that interacts with third-party APIs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science
• 2+ years of experience as a Software Engineer (with Bachelor's)
• Excellent coding skills in C++ and at least one scripting language
• Experience in designing unit and integration tests
• Native-level proficiency in Kannada and fluency in English
• Experience designing efficient architectures, algorithms, and interfaces
• Comfortable working in a Linux environment
