Engineering Manager- Backend (Data)

Job Description

Uniswap Labs is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead its Data and Software Engineering teams. The Engineering Manager will drive the development of scalable software systems and ensure seamless integration of blockchain data into Uniswap Labs' products. This role involves working closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver impactful features.Responsibilities include:

• Supervising, mentoring, and growing a team of software and data engineers.
• Driving the design, development, and delivery of scalable software systems.
• Overseeing the extraction and transformation of blockchain and other data sources.
• Collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams to define priorities.
• Planning, prioritizing, and managing projects.
• Driving initiatives to optimize data retrieval and processing.

Requirements include:

• 3+ years in software engineering roles, with at least 2 years of engineering management experience.
• Strong experience in software development and familiarity with blockchain data structures and APIs.
• Proven ability to build and lead high-performing, collaborative engineering teams.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
