Job Description
Keyline Industries, a leading manufacturer of keys, key cutting machines and transponders, is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their administrative team. This role, reporting directly to the CFO, is based in North Olmsted, OH.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions.
- Updating and maintaining the general ledger.
- Reconciling entries into the accounting system.
- Recording debits and credits.
- Performing account reconciliations to ensure transaction accuracy.
- Using knowledge of local laws to comply with reporting requirements.
- Monitoring variances from projected budgets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 6+ years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar role.
- Basic accounting knowledge.
- Understanding of accounting best practices.
- Data entry skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- High level of accuracy.
- Professionalism and organizational skills.
