Keyline Industries is seeking a highly motivated Firmware/Electronic Engineer to join its R&D team. This individual will focus on developing the key cutting machine communication stack and maintaining existing tools and processes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for electronics and new technologies, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
The Firmware/Electronic Engineer will be responsible for:
- Creating and developing devices, controllers, and firmware.
- Researching and testing integrated systems and devices.
- Designing, coding, and testing features for controller boards and IoT devices.
- Analyzing user needs and contributing to service design.
- Actively participating in design guilds and agile squads.
- Ensuring continuous improvement of technical platforms.
Key qualifications include:
- Deep knowledge of microcontroller architecture and communication standards.
- Proficiency in C and C++ for firmware development.
- HW design experience (schematics and PCB design).
- Knowledge of motor control, CNC principles, and wireless communication standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years experience design and prototype microcontrollers boards and architectures
- Awareness of safety and EMC compliance
