Senior PLC developer at Keyline S.p.A.

Keyline Industries, a family-owned business, is seeking a Senior PLC Developer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing industrial machines and maintaining existing tools and processes within an international context.

The Senior PLC Developer will work within the Dev Team to design and develop Keyline's industrial application platforms. He will Develop and maintain PLC programs using Siemens TIA Portal and/or Rockwell Automation's Studio 5000.

This role requires a highly motivated individual with a passion for the digital world and new technologies, as well as strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills and ability to support the team on innovative processes and coding standards.

What the role involves:

• Designing and developing Keyline’s industrial applications platforms.
• Developing and maintaining PLC programs using Siemens TIA Portal and/or Rockwell Automation's Studio 5000.
• Designing and implementing advanced control solutions using Siemens and Rockwell Automation hardware and software.
• Providing expert troubleshooting and technical support for Siemens and Rockwell Automation systems.
• Collaborating with project teams to ensure seamless integration of PLC systems.
• Leading initiatives to upgrade and retrofit existing systems.
• Conducting training sessions for technical staff.
• Supporting team members and other functions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in PLC programming with Siemens and Rockwell Automation platforms.
• Proficiency in Siemens TIA Portal and/or Rockwell Automation Studio 5000.
• Solid knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex automation solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in the English language.
