Dialpad is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to join its growing team. This role is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and reports to the VP of Engineering.

The Senior Frontend Engineer will contribute to building a new experience on the customer communications platform. Dialpad is a dynamic force in AI technology, providing human-first, AI-enhanced solutions.

What this role involves:

  • Designing and building amazing web experiences using Vue.js and TypeScript.
  • Influencing the long-term technical vision for web and desktop frontend clients.
  • Collaborating with backend engineers to design and implement RESTful APIs and GraphQL schemas.
  • Working with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality products.
  • Building responsive composable UIs for all devices.
  • Planning and creating reusable and modular components.
  • Crafting clean, modular, and maintainable code.
  • Participating in code reviews and design discussions.
  • Performing unit and end-to-end testing.
  • Optimizing architecture for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging issues.
  • Staying up-to-date with frontend technologies and best practices.
  • Mentoring engineers.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in frontend software engineering.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience with Vue.js or another modern JavaScript web framework.
  • Experience using state management libraries: Vuex, Redux, Recoil, MobX.
  • Experience using Typescript and ES6.
  • Extensive knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Experience building reusable and modular components.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL schemas.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
