Job Description
Dialpad is seeking a Revenue Accountant to manage the end-to-end revenue recognition process, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and ASC 606. The Revenue Accountant will collaborate with the billing team, Deal Desk, and Customer Success to accurately document and record revenue, facilitate timely close, and ensure proper treatment of complex contract terms. The role involves creating refined procedures and robust internal controls to elevate revenue accounting processes and compliance standards. This position reports to the Assistant Controller and is based in Dialpad's Pasig City, Metro Manila office, with preferred working hours in the US Pacific Time zone.

What this role involves:
  • Overseeing and contributing to the company's revenue recognition framework.
  • Partnering with the Billing team to ensure accurate data inputs.
  • Executing the SaaS revenue recognition accounting model.
  • Developing new strategies to improve the accuracy and timeliness of revenue management.
  • Developing internal finance controls based on industry best practices.
  • Directing the continued implementation and improvement of technical tools.
  • Working with the cross-functional team on new product introductions.
  • Working proactively with executive management on new business arrangements.
  • Assisting in other ad-hoc revenue-related accounting activities.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Revenue Accountant.
  • Proven track record of supporting US-based teams and strong knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Understanding of both ASC 606 and the SaaS revenue model, with a minimum of 1 year in revenue accounting.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships among multiple teams.
  • Great attention to detail and a passion for meeting deadlines.
