Principal Solutions Architect

Job Description

Neptune is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to engage with top research labs globally, helping them maximize the value of the Neptune platform. This role involves leading Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for potential high-value customers, conducting technical demos, and providing advanced troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will drive product adoption and identify upsell opportunities through expert technical support and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary technical advisor in customer engagements.
• Capture and translate customer insights into product requirements.
• Lead and execute PoCs for prospective customers.
• Conduct detailed technical demos and discussions.
• Identify potential upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
• Act as a high-level technical troubleshooter.
• Contribute insights on customer use cases and best practices helping to develop resources.

Requirements:

• Master’s or PhD in Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 5-10 years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, or AI.
• Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, primarily within the USA.
• Proven track record in customer-facing roles.
• Strategic insight into how technical decisions impact business outcomes.
• High degree of autonomy and problem-solving skills.
