Adyen is seeking an Account Manager to join their team in Tokyo. Adyen is the financial technology platform of choice for many companies. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing Adyen's largest enterprise merchants by building strong relationships with key merchant contacts. The ideal candidate will be a networker who thrives in a fast-paced and diverse environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Own and grow a portfolio of enterprise merchants.
  • Build strong merchant relationships.
  • Provide strategic and consultative advice to influence the global payments strategy of enterprise companies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to communicate merchant needs.
  • Serve as a thought leader for colleagues.
  • Foster a positive working environment.

Requirements:
  • Full proficiency in Japanese and English.
  • 4 to 8 years of experience in account management or consulting in a related industry.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours/week.
  • Work from the office minimum 3 times a week
  • Domestic and international travel required
