Adyen is seeking an Account Manager to join their team in Sydney. As the financial technology platform of choice, Adyen provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft. The Account Manager will manage relationships with innovative international merchants across multiple industries and channels, contributing to the growth and success of Adyen's business and brand.
The Account Manager will work on cross-functional initiatives and projects in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. They will develop customer relationships and drive commercial growth for accounts, working alongside a team of talented Account Managers.
What this role involves:
- Collaboration with other Account Managers on various accounts.
- Relationship management with a focus on commercial growth, customer satisfaction, and churn reduction.
- Driving commercial discussions and meeting strategic and financial targets.
- Prioritizing and managing short and long-term projects, leveraging internal support teams.
- Working with Technical and Product teams to manage merchant integration and identify improvements.
- Serving as a feedback loop internally for customers.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in a client-facing, commercial role (e.g., account management, consulting).
- Experience in the payments industry, complex enterprise software, technical infrastructure, or financial services is a bonus.
- Strategic thinking and project management skills.
- Ability to lead and manage time-sensitive, cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong communication and team player skills.
- Technical interest, knowledge, and understanding.
