Intern, GA Industrial Engineering at Harbinger Motors Inc.

Harbinger Motors Inc., an electric vehicle manufacturer, is seeking an Intern for their GA Manufacturing Team. The intern will apply lean manufacturing principles to optimize the efficiency of the shop floor. This role offers valuable experience at a fast-paced, high-growth startup during a critical early product development stage.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Assist in the implementation of lean manufacturing principles.
• Conduct time studies and workflow analysis.
• Support production planning and scheduling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and maintain documentation for standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Assist in data collection and analysis for continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to sustainability efforts.

Requirements:

• Enrolled in Bachelor’s degree program or greater in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Work authorized in the United States OR ability to obtain J-1/F-1 visa
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Passion for sustainability and the electric vehicle industry.
