Job Description

Adyen is seeking an Enterprise Account Manager to join their team in Milan. Adyen provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution, serving customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft. The role is within the Account Management team, which is critical to Adyen's growth. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a hands-on mentality.

The Account Manager will develop strong relationships with customers, providing payments insights to help them grow. They will identify commercial opportunities, including expansion. The candidate should have experience in account management, product management, or financial services.

What this role involves:

  • Relationship management: Build strong customer relationships.
  • Commercial acumen: Drive commercial discussions with customers.
  • Strategic consultation: Deliver expertise and payment guidance to customers.
  • Project management: Prioritize and execute on short and long term projects.
  • Feedback: Be the voice for your customer internally.

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years experience in an account management / product management role or complex enterprise software, technical infrastructure or financial services (specifically payments) role
  • Enjoy engaging others and developing strong working relationships at all levels of management
  • Passionate about leading strategic payments conversations, presenting business reviews, and coordinating high level technical discussions
  • Skilled in leveraging your business acumen and analytical abilities to strategically assess and help reach client goals
  • Comfortable synthesizing complex data sets and using data to tell a story
  • Full professional written and verbal proficiency in Italian and English.
  • Excited to prioritize and manage multiple projects across different departments, while motivating and collaborating with others to achieve results
