Principal Enterprise Account Manager

Job Description

Adyen is seeking a proactive and strategic Principal Account Manager to join their team. In this role, the individual will manage the company's most significant and complex enterprise merchants by building deep relationships with VP to C-level executives and key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of both enterprise and payments industries, eager to help the world’s biggest brands grow while changing an industry.

What This Role Involves:

• Building and sustaining deep, trust-based relationships with VP to C-level executives.
• Architecting and implementing bespoke commercial strategies.
• Providing unparalleled payments expertise and strategic guidance.
• Leading by example and providing mentorship to the internal account team.
• Representing Adyen at high-profile industry events.
• Overseeing and prioritizing complex global projects.
• Advocating for customers within Adyen, influencing the product roadmap.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 15 years in a senior client-facing, commercial role.
• At least 12 years of demonstrated expertise in both Enterprise and Payments sectors.
• Full professional written and verbal proficiency in English.
• Some domestic and international travel is required.
