Job Description

Ahrefs is seeking a creative Video Producer to elevate the creativity, production quality, and entertainment value of their YouTube channel. The Video Producer will tell compelling stories about people, companies, and websites through the lens of online search, further establishing Ahrefs as the global leader in the digital marketing industry. He/She will develop valuable skills at the intersection of YouTube and corporate strategy, and gain insights into YouTube from industry experts.Responsibilities:

• Lead a team and spearhead content production for the channel.
• Lead content ideation efforts, crafting stories and pre-production scripts for video concepts.
• Lead and organize shoots, capturing footage.
• Work with video editors to bring creative vision to life.
• Autonomously own the entire production process.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a producer and/or director, with a strong portfolio in creating video content independently.
• Strong interest in big data, data tools, SEO, and marketing.
• Highly organized and able to work autonomously.
• Excellent storytelling skills and ability to simplify technical concepts for a broad audience.
• Willingness to participate in a paid freelance project during the interview process.
• Must live within a reasonable commuting distance to the Boston area, or be willing to relocate accordingly.
