Channel Partnership Manager at Adyen

Adyen is seeking a Channel Partnership Manager to develop and drive partnerships to bring in new customers. This role is based in Adyen's Tokyo office and focuses on building relationships with technology and alliance partners to accelerate growth. The ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial spirit and be able to identify, build, and drive relationships that help Adyen stand out. They will work with technology platform providers for e-commerce, marketing cloud and payments, POS and Retail System providers, next generation Point of Sales software providers, Systems Integrators and complementary partners in Adyen's ecosystem. The position requires close collaboration with Adyen's global sales team.

What this role involves:

• Initiating and developing commercial relationships with strategic partners.
• Driving partner recommendations and referrals.
• Ensuring suitable technical integrations are developed.
• Negotiating commercial partnership models.
• Empowering partner employees to promote Adyen.
• Attending partner events.
• Collaborating with Adyen's global sales team.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a sales/partnership/channel role.
• Strong commercial mindset and agility.
• Well-organized methodology.
• Focus on delivering measurable success.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Good technical knowledge.
• Experience with digital commerce platforms and system integrators (a plus).
• International mindset.
• Native level Japanese and business proficiency in spoken and written English.
