This individual contributor role focuses on acquiring new enterprise merchants and fostering growth in the region. The Sales Manager will work for Adyen and play a crucial role in expanding Adyen's market presence by identifying and securing new enterprise clients.

What this role involves:

  • Learning and understanding Adyen products and services to effectively articulate their value.
  • Generating new business by identifying and approaching prospects, communicating value propositions, and establishing long-term partnerships.
  • Working closely with mid-level to senior executives to negotiate, close deals, and support onboarding.
  • Partnering with technology leaders and solution providers, collaborating with Sales Support, Implementation, and Account Management teams.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of sales experience, with 3+ years focused on hunting large enterprise businesses in the region.
  • Experience selling payment solutions, complex enterprise software, technical infrastructure, or financial services.
  • Strategic negotiation and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time-sensitive projects with little supervision and own success.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales performance targets.
  • Relevant business network in Australia and New Zealand.
