Adyen is seeking an Implementation Engineer I to assist prospective and current merchants with integrating or improving existing integrations. This role is based in Shanghai and involves a technical background and commercial mindset to support merchants in designing payment solutions. The Implementation Engineer I will collaborate with Sales, Account Managers, Product, and Engineering teams.

Role involves:
- Creating scalable and robust solutions
- Serving as a consultative partner for merchants
- Overseeing high-quality project delivery
- Optimizing payment solutions
Requirements:
- 1-4 years of technical consultative experience
- Experience with front-end web languages like Javascript, Java, HTML, Python, or CSS
- Ability to learn new technologies and understand complex systems (APIs, databases, SDK's, etc.)
- Knowledge of REST or similar API protocols
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in payments / fintech is advantageous
- Fluency in English
