Job Description

Adyen is seeking an Integration Engineer to be the primary technical point of contact for merchants. In this role, the Integration Engineer will guide merchants through the design, development, testing, and launch phases of their integrations with Adyen's platform. The engineer will focus on ensuring a smooth implementation process and maintaining open communication. They will work on diverse projects encompassing payment solutions, including e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, and card issuing programs. This position is based in Adyen's Berlin office.

What this role involves:

  • Creating robust solutions for merchant integrations.
  • Serving as a consultative partner for merchants in various verticals.
  • Collaborating with Sales, Account Managers, Product, and Engineering teams.
  • Overseeing high-quality project delivery and the technical integrity of merchant integrations.
  • Providing consultation on optimising payment solutions.
  • Analysing and troubleshooting code.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience integrating with Web APIs.
  • C1 Level in English and German is required.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and understand complex systems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to identify pragmatic solutions to complex integration problems.
  • Experience in the payments landscape is a plus.
