Compliance Officer - Card Networks

Adyen is seeking a Compliance Officer to join their San Francisco office. This role requires experience with card networks, payments, and the finance industry. • Identifying compliance obligations based on Card Networks and Local Payment Methods Rules.
• Translating obligations into policies and procedures.
• Representing the team on work streams and products.
• Strengthening knowledge management across the business.
• Participating in Product Risk Assessments.
• Handling escalations from stakeholders.
• Advising internal stakeholders and liaising with external auditors.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years’ experience in payments/Credit Card industry and/or second line compliance functions.
• Knowledge of the finance and/or payment industry; experience dealing with Card Networks and Scheme Rules.
• Knowledge of the US/CA markets and exposure to global business.
• Analytical thinking skills for drafting and monitoring policies and procedures.
• Interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Comfort addressing senior management and influencing across all levels.
• Good sense of business and technical acumen.
• Strong sense of initiative and self-motivation.

What Adyen offers:

• Competitive annual base salary range of $120,000 - $155,000.
• Opportunity to work in their San Francisco office.
