Role Involves: - Leading and managing a diverse team.
- Leading regulatory engagements with regulators and auditors.
- Providing strategic regulatory advice to stakeholders.
- Identifying and addressing regulatory obligations and integrity risks.
- Translating obligations into policies and procedures.
- Representing regulatory interests in workstreams and products.
Requirements: - 15+ years’ experience in a regulatory and/or legal function in payments, financial services and/or fintech.
- Knowledgeable in the Japanese payments, financial services and/or fintech industry.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate high-performing teams.
- Strong initiative, independence, and ownership.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills for creative problem-solving.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in English and Japanese.
