Adyen is seeking a Team Lead for Technical Support to be based in Amsterdam. Adyen is the financial technology platform of choice for leading companies. The Team Lead will guide and develop a team that serves as the first point of contact for Adyen’s merchants globally, addressing complex technical and operational questions. The role involves collaborating with various internal teams to provide excellent service and support.

What this role involves:

  • Leading a customer-facing team that provides knowledge on the Adyen platform, APIs, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborating with an international leadership team to standardize best practices and develop global alignment.
  • Coaching and mentoring Support Team members to resolve technical challenges and advance their careers.
  • Defining and communicating objectives and key results for the Support team.
  • Tracking team progress and presenting results to Senior Leadership.

Requirements:

  • 2-6 years of experience managing technical support teams.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor a team.
  • Innovative with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Technical background or strong technical affinity.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
