Adyen is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join their team in Amsterdam. Adyen is the financial technology platform of choice for leading companies like Meta, Uber, and Microsoft.

In this role, the Technical Support Engineer will serve as the primary point of contact for Adyen's merchants worldwide. They will collaborate with various teams within Adyen, both technical and commercial, to ensure merchants can successfully process payments and expand their businesses. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, merchant-focused, and thrive in a collaborative environment.

Role Involves:

  • Serving as a key source of knowledge on the Adyen platform, APIs, and related technologies.
  • Providing direct technical support to merchants throughout their lifecycle.
  • Acting as an internal product advocate, tracking product processes, and providing feedback from merchants.
  • Advising merchants on best implementation practices and resolving specific issues.

Requirements:

  • Recognizes each interaction with a merchant as a customer service experience.
  • Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Demonstrates innovative problem-solving capabilities and adaptability to new processes.
  • Has affinity with API troubleshooting, Postman, internet technologies, and technical processes (HTML / JavaScript / Scripting).
  • Is self-driven, flexible, and able to maintain high productivity with minimal supervision.
  • Has previous exposure to environments rich in uncertainty and a track record of successfully dealing with ambiguity.
  • Makes quick informed decisions under pressure and prioritizes appropriately.

This role is based out of Adyen's Amsterdam office and requires in-person collaboration 3 days a week.
