CI/CD engineer at Adyen

Adyen is seeking a CI/CD Engineer to join their Infrastructure & Operations team in Amsterdam. Adyen is the payments platform of choice for many of the world’s leading companies.He/she will focus on developing CI/CD solutions and pipelines for code and infrastructure, maintaining CI/CD tooling and infrastructure, and providing support to the organization. The engineer will replace, rebuild, and refactor components of a CI infrastructure, contributing to the provision of CI/CD "as-a-service" across the organization.Role involves:

• Developing CI/CD solutions and pipelines for code and infrastructure.
• Maintaining CI/CD tooling and infrastructure.
• Supporting the rest of the organization.
• Replacing, re-building and refactoring components of a complicated, bespoke CI infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Solid Linux background with broad systems experience.
• Familiarity with building containers, Linux and OSX packages.
• Experience automating processes and advocating for CI/CD.
• Experience creating pipelines for Jenkins and Gitlab.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a 24/7 environment, diagnose problems, make quick informed decisions, and handle pressure.
• Familiarity with Gitlab and JFrog Artifactory.
• Familiarity with containerization and Kubernetes stack.
• Experience leveraging containerization technologies in creating robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Linux, Apache, Tomcat, Firewalls, network security protocols, databases, UNIX-related network services, TCP/IP networking, DNS, HTTP(s).
• Experience with System configuration and administration, load balancing, horizontal scaling, monitoring, Linux containers ecosystem and understanding of Linux kernel primitives (Namespaces, Linux Cap, cgroups, etc), core operating systems including network setup and maintenance, network security and distributed file systems.
