Job Description
Adyen is seeking a Senior Product Manager to scale its Banking Network in Europe. Adyen provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution. The role is based in Madrid and sits within the Financial Products solution team.

The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining the end-to-end processing of banking transactions for various use cases. He will collaborate closely with the engineering team and other product and functional teams to ensure best-in-class bank-based payments in Europe.

What this role involves:
  • Building a best-in-class banking network and banking capabilities with a focus on the EU and APAC.
  • Performing in-depth analysis of Payment Systems like SCT/SDD and NPP.
  • Working closely with commercial teams to enable them to sell the USPs of the banking network.
  • Engaging with customers to understand their needs and ensure they get value from the product.
  • Setting the vision to make products that leverage bank payments the best in the market.
  • Collaborating with teams like Compliance and Treasury Partnerships to meet all financial and legal requirements.
  • Guiding and growing the team working on the offering.

Requirements:
  • 5-8 years of experience in product roles within a fintech or financial services environment focused on bank payments.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and strong project management skills.
  • Experience in launching and scaling transactional banking products.
  • In-depth experience with at least one major market infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of the global transactional banking world and payment systems.
  • Ability to create a reliable roadmap and make prioritization decisions.
  • Solid communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
